from Maria de Castro

A woman loses her sense of taste and embarks on a personal exploration of memory.

Barcelona-based director Maria de Castro talks about the inspiration behind her latest short film, which features a woman who unexpectedly loses her sense of taste:

“The film was made to express my idea of a loss of purity. Starting with a profile of a woman who has lost her sense of taste, the story becomes an obsessive search and a singular exercise to dig into her deepest memories.

“The story is an obsessive search for lost tastes that were once pure and original”
