Identity; lost in translation

From Nasiim Rezapour.

This is my first short film. It is a response to Exposure New York’s Brief: pitch a ‘concept for a movie’. My short story was based on a personal platform. The concept was about how language plays an active role when one tries to find a sense of belonging. It also emphasises on the idea of language being a form of communication and miscommunication and how through language and one’s surroundings, we try to find ourselves. And this is how my identity was lost through translation.
